Created by Jorge Elias and launched on Univision to connect Hispanic audiences directly with Hollywood movies, personalities and entertainment.
RECOGNIZED BY THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES
January 15, 1989 — Mayor Tom Bradley proclaimed Hablemos de Cine Day in Los Angeles.
February 26, 2009 — Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa again recognized Hablemos de Cine.
2018 — Los Angeles City Council officially honored Jorge Elias and Hablemos de Cine on the program’s 30th anniversary.
